Anniversary

Celebrating our anniversary in China was fabulous! I’m amazed at how two years have flown by. After teaching we went to our favorite place for a two and a half hour foot and full body massage…..ahhhhh…..HEAVEN…..followed up by a scrumptious dinner at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We sat and listened to the piano play and enjoyed the enormous Christmas tree and “Western” atmosphere. There was a chocolate fountain and Cold Stone type ice cream. Yummy! It was nice to have a relaxing evening together and just visit and wind down. I can’t believe we are lucky enough to have found each other and to experience this together. I love you Terry.

Julie, I didn't realize that you had an Anniversary this week too! How fun to spend it in China. We only went to a family party for our 30th... LOL. Oh well. We plan to celebrate properly after the holiday madness ends. It is so fun to see pics of you and what your doing. You two look so cute together, and you are looking mahvelous' dahling'. Just think of the memories you are creating over there. Bet your not missing all the snow shoveling either! We have had so much snow. Makes me think that people who retire to warm places know what they're doing. Ü Love to you all at this special time of year. Happy Holidays!!!

Happy Anniversary and a great big MERRY CHRISTMAS!
The Haertel Family loves you both tons and send our best wishes, prayers and love your way!

Can you believe I'm actually on here...just saw all your great pictures, from Thanksgiving on. You both look so great, although, It's such a reality check to see you at the olympic sites, on the great wall, surrounded by a whole different culture ... You guys are really in China!
Thanks so much for your examples of service, love and sacrifice.

Hope your classes ended well and you can have fun on your time away from the classroom and those pressures (although it sounds like you won't be resting much!)

Stay safe and warm. The gospel's true and we love you!
